Danny Gail Ferguson

Mr. Danny Gail Ferguson of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 73 years, 5 months, and 29 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Wednesday, August 6, 1952, the son of Arthur Snow & Ruth (Sandusky) Ferguson. Danny worked for many years at Brooks Foods and Broadrick’s. He greatly enjoyed Kentucky basketball and spending time working outdoors. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Wayne Meeks.

He is survived by his sons, Gabe (& Judy) Ferguson of Marietta, Georgia, Dan (& Leslie) Ferguson of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Norma Meeks, Sharon Pittman, and Pina (Mike) Claborn; nieces & nephew, Kim (& Steve) Pugliese of Pittsboro, Indiana, Cynthia (& Chad) Harvey of Cookeville, Tennessee, Chris (& Dawn) Meeks of Fishers, Indiana; grandchildren, Garek Ferguson, Leah Ferguson, Kate Ferguson, Levi Ferguson; great-grandchild, Griffin Ferguson; great-nephews, Evan Meeks, Dominic Pugliese; great-nieces, Chloe Meeks, and Isabel Pugliese.

The memorial service was conducted on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Smith officiating.
